Designed to make a big splash of color in landscapes and large containers, this long-blooming, low-maintenance hummingbird mint produces a profusion of golden yellow flower spikes for months. It begins to bloom early in the season and continues through fall without needing to be sheared back to stay in flower. Maestro® Gold is a pollinator magnet and, true to its common name, hummingbirds find it irresistible. Fortunately, deer don’t share the same appetite for this colorful plant.

Great grown in the landscape and in containers. Can be used as a thriller in combination containers if paired with plants that also enjoy good drainage and full sun. |
| Maintenance Notes |
These sun lovers are great heat tolerant plants. Avoid planting these plants where they will have wet feet. If planting inground, then choosing an area with good drainage will be a key for success. If planting in containers, make sure there are drainage holes to allow excess water to drain and avoid over-watering. |
