Supertunia® Pink Tiara™

Supertunia petunias are vigorous with slightly mounded habits that function as both fillers and spillers in containers.  This Pink Tiara petunia is also an excellent landscape plant, best suited to be placed near the front of beds.  They have medium to large-size flowers.

One look and you’ll know why this Pink Tiara petunia is so special among Supertunia petunias. Its incredible vigor is impressive, but the luminescent glow which emanates from the center of the princess pink flowers will keep buyers coming back for more vibrant pink petunia flowers.

Stunning princess pink blooms feature a luminescent glow which emanates from the center, not unlike the color patterns found in some morning glory flowers. It’s a new pattern for the Supertunia line, and one that we expect exciting things to come from in the future among long blooming annuals. No deadheading is needed to keep these Supertunia petunias in bloom from spring to fall, making them reliable long blooming annuals. In addition to gorgeous flowers, the vigor of this plant is incredible, with a more trailing habit of a long blooming pink petunia flowers. Combine Pink Tiara petunia with other medium to high vigor plants in large hanging baskets and upright containers or use it as a flowering groundcover for landscapes filled with showy pink petunia flowers.

Plants may be trimmed back with a sharp pair of scissors or pruning shears at any time, although this is not usually necessary. Plants may flush out of flower if night temperatures begin to stay in the upper 70's or above, especially in climates where heat tolerant annual flowers perform best. If this happens a light trim to shape them would be good. The trim will increase branching and will result in more flowers once the temperatures fall and the plants begin flowering again. A yearly application of fertilizer or compost on garden beds and regular fertilization of plants in pots will help ensure the best possible performance from Supertunia petunias, particularly when growing strong, heat tolerant annual flowers.
