Maintenance Notes

Tolerant of most soils except extremely wet ones. pH adaptable. Withstands heavy pruning. Pruning can be done at any time, but is best done in early spring. If faster growth is desired, fertilize in early spring with a granular fertilizer formulated for trees and shrubs.

Like most variegated plants, occasional reversions to the original green form may occur. These should be pruned out as needed.
